Minutes of the Main Meeting 9th October, St Martin’s Hall, beginning at 10am.
The Chair, Alison Currah, welcomed all to the meeting including recently joined members Gloria and Murray Collings and guest Danni Jones.
Dot and Marilyn were thanked as the ‘greeters’ and the usual safety and fire regulations were given.
Chair
Alison began with the sad news of the death of Pat Ellis, a long standing and enthusiastic member who had also been the leader of the Wild Swimming Group. A lovely photograph of Pat was displayed.
The letter sent to all members from the Chairman requesting new committee members had, unfortunately, only received one positive response. Alison asked that anyone who was interested stay behind after the meeting to chat with the existing committee members.
