Music

If you enjoy playing an instrument, or want to learn one, we have a number of active music groups that can often be heard either at a u3a event or at other events and in pubs around Looe (when they’re open of course!).

Beginners are welcome and the ability to read music is not always necessary. We may even be able to let you borrow a ukulele to see how you get on with it.

For those less inclined to play, but happy to listen, our Music Appreciation Group meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month, in the evening, to discuss members varied music choices.

Finally, for those that enjoy singing, we have our Singing for Pleasure group, which is also known as ‘Tunes in the Afternoon’ because it meets on alternate Friday afternoons for choral fun.

To contact any of the above groups, please email groupsInfo@looeu3a.org
