Over 70 members gathered together in St. Martin’s Hall on the afternoon of Friday 5th May 2023, to share a Coronation Celebration with a delicious afternoon tea.
The tables groaned with a wide selection of delicious sandwiches, scones, jam and cream and a huge selection of homemade cakes, all prepared by the Committee. All washed down with copious amounts of tea and coffee.
Following a welcome by the Chair, Alison Currah, members sang the National Anthem accompanied by none other than Looe & District u3a’s own ‘Kings’, Marilyn and Peter, on cello and viola respectively. The King was toasted and members left the hall happy and very full!
