And boy do we have talent!
On Saturday 27th November 2021, 65 members gathered to enjoy a night of homegrown entertainment. Not a night for judging and being judged but just a great opportunity to get together socially (our first social evening since the pandemic) and share and enjoy members talents.
Huge thanks go to Carole Day for the photographs that appear below!

The evening began with a good old-fashioned singalong and audience participation to break the ice and get the ball rolling. There followed a varied collection of acts as shown in the photos below.

In the 2nd half he turned into Frank Sinatra for ‘Nice n’ Easy’!

In the short interval, members were offered an ‘Open Mic’ to come and share their talents.

After a full evening, Alison Currah, the organiser of the event brought the show to an end with a rendition of ‘Dream a Little Dream of Me’ in which she thanked the performers for giving their time and talents, and the audience for attending and being so appreciative. Everyone joined in with the final chorus. Chris Barwell, chair, expressed her thanks on behalf of all present and presented Alison with a plant.

All in all, a successful and enjoyable evening.
